Texas Heat and Fuenerals
I have just discovered that one of my brother's family members passed away. I feel so bad and sad for him. I have been praying for him and his family. I can't even imagine how it must feel. His little sister 18 yrs old passed away. She was in a tragic car accident there in Maine. The fueneral was today in North Wyndham. I wish I could have been there for him. We used to stay up late at night and talk about our families because we both had lived a lot of the same life being the eldest and taking care of our families and helping our parents with the everyday raising of our siblings. We are a lot alike. He practically raised his sister just as I have mine and many of you know my sister. I can't believe this has happened to him. I ask God to please ease his suffering and keep him safe. May the Lord Bless this family and be with them at this severe time of need. The only reason I am writing this down is becuase I do not know any other way to cope with it at this time.

I just want to let all my friends out there know that I am praying for them and to never forget to tell that special someone in your family how you feel about them because you never know.

I truly MISS all of you in Maine and I always knew all of you were special to me and I am feeling even closer to you now. I know I haven't been around but I would like to let y'all know y'all are always in my thoughts. May God Bless You All.............

drop me a line when you can.

Always Jae

Jerry's Chicago Hotdogs
Oh my God , I have found a jewel amongst all the mexican restaurants and taco huts, taco garages, and taco nouveau cuisine. Yes believe it or not my manager from Starbucks informed me of a place called Jerrys Chicago Hotdogs and it is great! The chicago hot dog is a work of art the way this guys assembles them is just sheer artistry. I was actually impressed and that is not easy when it comes to recommendations that people say , " I%T is the best!" but it is, this time there was no over exaggeration.

If I hadn't mentioned it before I have begun to work at the H.E.A.R music Starbucks store in San Antonio. It is actually a new product of Starbucks and there are only 2 others in the country and then us and the fourth will be opening soon at HQ in Seattle. I have really enjoyed working there. I know some may say I have given into corporate america, but you can't say that when my butt is serving coffee, but i get to talk about music and albums all day long and introduce people to music they have never known before. The managers thought i would be too shy to go out and walk up to customers. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, THEY REALLY THOUGHT I WAS SHY! When they saw me talking about the cds and albums behind the counter as I served and schlocked my coffee they were more like , " UHHHHHHH, I guess we ............ uuuuuuuhhhhhhh!" and I was like yeah thought you knew. I told them," i really am very shy, but you have helped me come out of my shell." LOLOLOLOLOLOL, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHA no i didn't say that but it would have been good, heheheheheheheheheehhe.

So the Starbucks thing is going well and I am also starting at the Iron Cactus. I know I have mentioned this job before but it keeps getting started and then postponed due to city ordinances and red tape. The actual restaurant is actually beautiful. It is right by the river and they expect to make 11million in sales the first year. All I know is that seems like we could make some decent money. I wish all of you could be here so i could show you this place and the rest of san antonio. So with the two jobs getting in full gear i have been busy.

However; I was contacted by The Renasissance Guild yesterday. Danielle King called me to see if I would be interested in Directing one of the ONE Acts they are producing. YES my fellow USMers of theatre you heard correctly, Direct. She asked we wondered if you might be interested? Of course Jae played it cool and informed her he would have to check and give her a call back. OK, a nanosecond later Jae said YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL, no really, i hung up and waited a half hour. So we will see how it works out, and I hope it does becuase, OH yeah if directing was great enough, I WOULD BE GETTING PAID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So wish me to break a leg, and if it doesn't happen at least I feel GREAT that a well-known, reputable, recognized theatre company actually made me an offer. I feel GREAT

Ok guys I have to go for now, Leave a message would love to hear from all!!!!!!!!!!

DOCTOR'S SUCK
GREETINGS AND SALUTATIONS FROM TEXAS

OK CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT THE SAN ANTONIO LIBRARY DOES NOT HAVE A COPY OF : A SERVANT OF TWO MASTERS,,,,,REALLY!? CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?

Well people i went to see the doctor today about the swellin' in my foot I am like WTH???

I am so tired of this stupid thing so the doctor states that he believe it is the KING"S disease i am like what the hell is that. He states it is wehn the uric acid inmy body is not broken up due to the excess of beef and creamy sauces or gravy. I am like does he not know I am mexican and con queso dip is taken in intravenously? ! ? REALLY!!!!!!!!!!

I am talking to one of my favorite people right now and I miss her. I wish she were back and I just reminded me she owes me a lingerie fashion show. hehehehehehehehehehehehe. I miss my penis girl.

I then had to wait for over two hours to get my friggin' prescription filled. I then went downtown to get my paycheck and get my money and then treated my mom to lunch at the Mexican Manhattan. If any of you ever find yourself in San Antonio this would be a great place to have lunch. They serve the best Mexican food on the river. i love going there and just sit outside and ponder and write looking over the river it is a place that i know many of you would like. When I think of this place I see Mr. Andersen, Mr. Carlsen , Ms. Worden, Ms Crocker Michaela, Amy, Mia and all of us having a great time and then having Wes come along and acting silly and making all of us laugh for one reason or another to the point where we throw him in the river, LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL.

I know it was a pretty uneventful day but it was a good one. I got to speak briefly with Ms. Demas and i had not heard her voice in such a long time. I am very saddened to hear she may leave me. I believe more than anyone knows. She truly keeps me sane on some days. Miss you honey.

OK GUYS DROP ME A LINE, WAT THE HELL TAKE THE TIME, HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE

Greeting from the state with Kinky for Governor
I think it is hilarious that the independent running mate is named Kinky and he is running against a person with the name "Grandma" for her actual title. The funny thing is that she has to get state congressional aproval before she can use the title of grandma politically, leave it to Texas.

Summer has been a bit uneventful so far just a lot of work. I have been working at one of Starbucks new HEAR Music stores and it is actually pretty great. I will also begin work at the new Iron Cactus restaurant on the riverwalk. The City of San Antonio and some private investors have renovated the Aztec Theatre and it was built back in the early 1900's and it has all original Mayan rock sculptures and other Mayan atrifacts. In its day the theatre was the hub of all cultural interaction in San Antonio and then in the early 60's until the 80's it was converted into a movie theatre and then in the late 80's and 90's this once auspicous and wonderful hub of cultural interaction was turned into a porn house. The theatre was closed in the late 90's and had been abandoned and closed for years and now it has been brought back to the glory of old and the basement which has river access has been developed into shops and a huge restaurant on the river. The lobby of the theatre now has a special effects show and the films shown there are things of the Mayan Ruins the Amazon rainforest and other forms of documentary style films. They are even going to have a student theatre film festival. I will keep you guys updated.

I love working in the downtown area because the people you meet are so interesting and are from all over the world. The other day I had the longes conversation with an aspiring Ukranian playwright.

I haven't written in a couple of weeks. I really want to keep up with that especially since it is a subject that I am very passionate about. I have also been talking to some individuals on how to break into or at least audition for some spanish novelas. I have also been trying to get ready for the move back to Maine. I have much more to get ready and to organize than i had first anticipated.

and for those of you Shakuntalites out there and who still remember THE fateful night.....MY STUPID DISLOCATED ailment has returned and IT is PAINFUL. Shakuntula has left me MARKED for life .......................DARNIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know all you guys are busy out there but when you get a chance drop me a line........

OK getting tired now need rest before i tackle tomorrow's heat.............

Adios from Tejas..............chaturika definitely OP when I get back.

Quick Update
Hey guys I am at the Public Library. I just went on an interview to work at Starbucks. I am no longer working at the Country Club, yea that is ALL done, but now I feel bad because I have been unable to find a job and It sucks.

I have also been EXTREMELY sick with a bronchial infection and I feel it is literally sucking the life out of me, I HATE IT. I ended up back at the ER because of it. I have been going through some crises or is it crisis, well more than one, but I think I have them all worked out. I can't wait to be back in Maine where, believe it or not, everything seem in sync for me like it works like I should be there.

Sorry to be such a downer on this update but as I said I have been battling this friggin' bronchial infection for about a month now and it is still messin' with me, so positive thoughts and prayers will be appreciated thanks buds.

Respond I would love to hear from y'all

Should be in Maine Soon

Craziness and MORE Craziness
I know it has been awhile since I have updated but I have just been so crazy busy it isn't even funny. As soon as I left Maine I continued to plan our Birthday Party. I have 3 cousins and myself that have birthdays in April so we planned on a HUGE cook out at Brackenridge Park for you New Englanders this is a HUGE Park where the San Antonio Zoo is, horseback riding, the Japanese Sunken Gardens and the whole cha bang. Well my birthday is April 24, but we decided to have it on the 22nd. Why is this important you ask? Well it was the onset of Fiesta in San Antonio and it was the weekend of the Taste of New Orleans another festival and it was just mad crazy busy. When my cousin Patricia and I realized this I went to the park as of 7am so I could save all the tables we needed. I am glad my mother and cousin chose the spot becuase we had all the shade we needed if not, OMG, I believe we would have died of heat stroke it was 94 that day. I of course kept cool with much Jack and Gingerale and Bud Light is my friend.

Well needless to say Jae was feeling happy, Jose wanted to come out but Jae kept him in check. WE ALL KNOW HOW JOSE LIKES TO COME OUT AND PLAY, but my whole family would be showing up and I don't believe many of them have met him soooo, NO BAD JOSE, he slept through the whole party.

Amy baby whiskey and gingerale remind you of anything? Lysistrata cast party maybe, heheheheheheheheeh!

I am no longer working at the insurance company since I have my mixology license I thought it would be good to venture out and get a bartending job. I did I went to the San Antonio Country Club. OK I think that place has not caught up with the times. The Country Club is one where it is "MEMBERS ONLY" and it is over 125 yrs old. Everytime I walk through the back door to serve these people I feel the clock turn back. I mean literally. I don't believe that there are any members of any different races. All members are anglo-european. I think it is kind of funny becuase they are all walking around acting like they are more latin than anything else trying to speak spanish and all. The only new members are those that get referred and checked out or are born into one of the families that already belong. It is a completely different world. YES, I even wear a penguin suit. I have to wear my tuxedo pants, shirt and vest.

We have like mad hours and events especially since it is Fiesta week. I have been working doubles since I got hired so I have not had time to do many things. I didn't get to go to Fiesta or even take Estrella to Fiesta. I don't think she is to happy with me, but she hasn't been so since I informed her I was going back to Maine but, O well, I have to do for me and Maine is for me at least right now. Not to mention, ever since I came back from Maine there was one person I thought I had moved on from and I got to see her again and my heart went pitter patter. I know I know , I am returning for school and keeping the pitter patters under control but sometimes you can't help it, and she ISN'T Greek go figure. I know some of you thought she might be, hahahahaahahahah.

I have been enjoying the sun and have been getting a tan. I know ALOT of y'all would kill for this weather well you can have it or at least come visit me, CRYS WORDEN should def. come to Texas after school lets out until we move in together come on roomie.

******Open INVITATION for anyone whom would like to come and visit TEXAS, just let me know*************

ROLLING BLACKOUTS!!!!! REALLY!!??!!
OK, Texas had rolling blackouts today, can you believe it. The entire state is on one electrical grid and since it is UNSEASONABLY warm, 99 f&*^#@$ degrees, the demand for electricity for the air conditions was overwhelming hence the people whom control the grid decided to kill it in fifteen increments throughout the state. YES, the entire state of Texas had blackouts becuase it was too hott. i can't believe it. Some parts of the state were already at 102 with humidity. To top it all off, I have been working on a report at work for three days and saved half of it, but it was 10 min to five and I was just about done. I was going to finish this damn report that should have been done by the person covering me when I was in Maine, but the bitch didn't do shit. Anyway at that very moment 04:50pm CST it is San Antonio's time for the blackout. Do you think I saved the damn report? Go ahead ask me, ask me? NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
Now I get to re-do it tomorrow, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

I get very irritated in the heat. The only good part was I went to the pool and got to chill and soak up the scenery, ;0))

The newcaster states tomorrow should be even hotter and they are asking us to use as little power as possible. TEXAS you have to love it. They don't say, "Texas a whole other country" for nothing!!!!!!!!!!!
On the bright side, I do love being able to go tanning and go to the pool at my own place.

Send me good thoughts i need them.........

Easter Goodness
I had a great Easter, quick update, I know I have not updated about my trip to Maine but I always do this to late. I have to actually take some time out and update about that just the highlights.

I was able to have a good 'ol Texas BBQ with my family and it was just hott enough to irritate me. I mean it was 95 and humid and it was not comfortable, not misreable, but uncomfortable. I could only be outside it small spurts, some of y'all would have liked it. I saw my baby cousin and she is only one years old and it was just so cute, I bought her chocolate to my cousin's dismay and she got her self all chocolaty and dirty I loved it and then I DID NOT clean her up when she got all fussy, I love it. I was able to spend time with the fam which is always good. I missed having my brother and my NEPHEWS here and my sister, but I just pray the Lord takes care of them.

I then had to go to the pool to cool off. I swear when I return I am gonna be sooo tan I am gonna look like a migrant worker, LOL.

***NOTE: PW is lucky I wasn't there and he swept you off your feet first! :0)))))*******

Amy I absolutely LOVE YOU and you mean so much to me that I can't even fully express!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
